August: 27 Cents On Medium

Medium earnings have seemed to tank across the site. Or at least they’re not compared to what they used to be.

But I’m not really shocked because with the number of writers on the platform, and the amount of revenue Medium probably brings in; There’s not really enough cash to go around.

And this brings me to what my article is about. So far in the month of August, I’ve earned 27 cents. Yup, a little more than a Quarter, but I’m not complaining actually.

I know a lot of other writers have been earning peanuts, too. But this month, it’s more my fault than anything. I could have earned a few extra peanuts if I tried. . . Maybe.

I’m Not Complaining: New Norm

I’m not complaining. The main reason is because Medium is not my main source of income, nor has it ever been my main source of income.

It has also never been a big “part-time” income either, nor has it been particularly useful for bringing traffic into any of my businesses I have promoted in the far past.

Maybe I didn’t use the platform right back then; But the point is I’m not complaining about the 27 Cents I’ve…
