Note: This song isn’t meant to offend anybody. I just enjoy creative writing, and writing from different perspectives. With that said, enjoy.

Below is a little song that I created, about men and women who head to the gym; But instead of actually focusing on their workouts, they use it as a studio where they can create content for the sole purpose of clout.

It’s kind of about those who don’t live a genuine fitness lifestyle, but instead who go to the gym every now and then to snap a bunch of pics for their social media profiles.

Sweatless Selfies

The mirror shines with filters more than sweat,
leggings tight, the angles carefully set.
You walked in late, a bottle just for show,
but the weights stay cold, untouched, you never grow.

The treadmill hums, yet you barely take a stride,
eyes on your phone, not the miles to ride.
One rep, two reps, then a photoshoot begins,
the caption reads “grind time” but it’s all pretend.

Protein shake staged in a manicured hand,
but last night was cocktails you barely could stand
