Today’s dating world (online specifically) is crazy, and beyond fast-paced. Heck, people use all sorts of non-dating apps to find people to get to know, and hope to make a connection.

However, there is a huge contradiction that often emerges, revealing much about a person’s character.

It’s the phenomenon of people who, while on holiday, eagerly seek out hookups or even intentionally plan trips to meet new partners.

Yet, when they’re back home, the same individuals dismiss potential relationships solely because of “distance.”

This behavior is more than just a superficial quirk; it’s a significant red flag and a checkmark against their integrity.

The Hypocrisy of Holiday Hookups

When people are on vacation, they often let their guard down, embracing new experiences and the thrill of meeting someone in an exotic location.

The allure of a fleeting romance or a casual hookup is strong, and many indulge without hesitation.

For some, the very idea of going on holiday is intertwined with the possibility of meeting someone new.
