You’ve seen it a million times, and maybe not really aware of it. Your social media feed gets flooded with motivational quotes, memes, and a barrage of selfies from someone who just got their heart handed back to them.

They’re out here acting like they’re about to become the next self-help guru, spouting wisdom that’s supposed to convince everyone they’re totally okay. But let’s be real — they’re full of it.

Give it a few weeks, maybe a couple of months, and guess what? They’re right back to the same old routine, pretending like that last romantic disaster never even happened.

The “New Me” Phase: All Shit Talk, But No Action

When someone gets burned in a relationship, the first thing they do is go on a social media blitz.

Suddenly, they’re all about “self-love” and “growth,” hitting you with quotes like “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” or some crap about finding peace within. And yeah, they might genuinely believe it — for like a hot minute.

But more often than not, it’s just a way to get some attention and validation while they’re licking…
